What a thrill to play Sister Lio in the Netflix live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. My goal wasn't simply to protect the Shrine of Avatar Yangchen, but more immediately, fight to give Gyatso enough time to safely hide the children who are my greatest love. I held off Sozin and his army for as long as I could before he attacked with a "double-barreled storm of fire" while I was "battering firebenders" from my "swirling vortex". Result: Sister Lio "roasted".
